MULTIPAGE BOOK
The purpose of this project was to create a multipage book consisting of an article written by author Susan Merritt about a prolific duo of designers Nancy Skolos and Thomas Wedell.
The whole process of creating and binding this book helped me further understand some of the finer and complex details of typography. Headers, subheads, body text, alignment, bleeding, text size, leading, kerning, all of these elements of typography were put into practice in the creation of this project.

Process
The typeface used for this project is Barkerville Display PT, this serif typeface seemed fitting in helping make both headers and body text readable and enjoyable.
For the content, all text comes from the aiga.org article 2017 AIGA Medalist: Nancy Skolos and Thomas Wedell. The images used come from Skolos & Wedell Portfolio Website.
As far as design goes, inspiration came from their Portfolio website, which has elements such as vertical lines serving as buttons to shift between their projects. Which inspired the red/white lines that are seen throughout the book's pages. For color, red and white colors were used to compliment some of their projects such as their To Be Human poster, which has this red background and white diagonal lines that also helped as inspiration.
